Time window for customer work

The more customers you have, the more demands you have. One of the things that is often demanded is the time of day the work is done at the customer's site - a service window or time window. Therefore, we are happy to announce that Previsto now supports service windows for individual customers.

How to specify a service window

Setting a service window for a customer is easy. When editing a customer, you can choose when the service window should start and when it should end on the 'Scheduling' tab. By default, the service window is all day, but you can adjust it according to your or the customer's needs.

Once you are satisfied and have saved your changes, Previsto will reschedule the routes the customer's work is on and optimize them according to the customer's new service window.

You can read more about setting the service window in the help section for creating customers.

What you get with service winner

When you use service windows, you automatically take into account that some customers need to be taken at certain times of the day. If you are a sole proprietor, you can plan routes that match the service windows as closely as possible so that you are with your customers at the agreed time of day.

If you have a larger company with several employees and many customers in the same area that need to be serviced at the same time, Previsto will automatically distribute the work between employees if necessary.

However, the service windows have some elasticity built in. Previsto will do its best to place the work in the service window, but if that's not possible, it will place the work as close to the service window as it can.
